This week I recommend picking up something form Red Lorry Yellow Lorry. After seeing them play in Milan last week, I've been listening to them a lot lately and remembering how great songs like 'Hollow Eyes', 'Generation', 'Hand On Heart' and 'Head On Fire' are. This collections got a lot of great songs on it, and if you havent got it, this or the "Smashed Hits" compilations are a great introduction to the band, who still play a great show!

One of my all time favorite bands! :D So their show was good Mark? I hope they come here one day....you European dwelling folk have all the fun! (By the way, if it's available, which I THINK it is, anyone unfamiliar with the Lorries should grab "Talk About The Weather")

Their best track ever.

Are there any other RLYL songs that come close to the greatness of "Talk About the Weather"?

thats one of thier most common songs, extracted from any number of goth samplers. its a great song, but i found so many others even better, like hand on heart, this today, and generation, to name a few.

Its been one of the goals of deathrock.com to make available music, both known and unknown, to deathrock fans or complete newcomers to the sound. Introducing the bands that are canon, as well as discovering more obscure artists well worth mentionining, and new bands who deserve a chance! Not only by writing about and linking to (even establishing a presence for them on the web!), but by offering a link to the CDs from online shops such as Amazon and the more independent Strobelight Records. Deathrock.com presents the Deathrock.com Shop! Every week we will present to you an Album worth owning. By Amazon.com you can buy the CD or download in just a few short clicks! By buying through Deathrock.com you are also supporting the site. So buy one for you AND a friend!

personally mark what I want the most out of you is those Ghoul School lessons!!! They've helped me evolve into a greater than life human being... pushing the biology of my body to new extremes!

And that was only the first 5 (which now I'm not sure where they are because someone stole my laptop... but like there's bands from those first 5 lessons that are forever etched in my genes... they were so good)
