Hi,

If you guys happens to be lost in Quebec City, I just wanna let you know there's a revival of the alt/goth scene here.

Check out our facebook group Gothique Nation Québec https://www.facebook.com/groups/193430580730474/
and our web page http://gothiquenationquebec.wordpress.com/

or our events in Quebec and Montreal @ https://www.facebook.com/pages/Living-Dead-Events-and-Productions-2011/121172334649951

also check out the bar/club Le Temps Partiel, once a month a goth evening (with deathrock !) and another evening with more industrial/EBM two weeks later http://letempspartiel.com/

finally, we hold zombies walk too ! Check out !

Thanks for letting us know! Even if you don't get a response, I'm sure at least a few who lurk here will take notice and appreciate your post.

I was aware of the revival...but it's kind of strange in my opinion...

I've also came across some new radio show held in montreal 0_o
Still haven't got the time to check it out in details...but yeah, from the description, it actually sounds interesting.
here's the link to their facebook : https://www.facebook.com/#!/RadiozZzombiE

I dunno what's going on in our province, but I always feel like it's a mix of whatever anyway.

In Montréal, they pretended they were doing goth and deathrock events..but once you get there, the music was louzy and you'd actually hear only few ok-songs like the cure, the cramps, and a shitload of real bad stuff such as goth minister @_@
and whenever you'd go ask to the DJ for a special request that is, in my opinion, atleast slightly more interesting, they'd stare at you like if you were an alien

Yeah it's weird, it's really DIY what we do but we did it at least. There are many m*f* in the scene that only thinks about getting things fucked up, or complaint but we never see them, but that's the same everywhere I guess. There are so much "living room goths" out there.
People who really loves real goth music over EBM/Hard Electro and metal counts on my fingers.
