Munster Records released a triple LP compiling all the works of Spanish band Décima VÃctima. Don't know them very well but this looks promising (and not cheap unfortunately).
Decima Victima were a Spanish band that, during their short-lived career between 1981 and 1984, developed a very personal sound reminiscent of Joy Division, The Cure and other British post-punk bands. They released two LPs, a maxi-single, two EPs and three singles. Although commercial success evaded them, rarely has any Spanish band achieved such a high degree of quality and coherence in their music and personality. This box-set contains all the music made by Decima Victima, including two unreleased tracks, and is released almost 30 years after their first record. For this edition, the sound of the original tape recordings has been cleaned and improved. The 24-page LP-size booklet in Spanish and English tells the band's story in their own words and includes many unseen pictures, a full discography and complete lyrics. Despite only being active for under three years, Decima Victima left a long-lasting legacy and their influence would later be heard in Spanish bands such as Family, Los Planetas and Sr Chinarro.
