These guys have been slowly getting bigger and bigger and they definitely have a big buzz here after their awesome NYE show with Talk Normal. Bluesy punk with elements of early '90s riot-grrrl and classic '70s rock, with a hectic art-rock live performance. Plus they're just super nice people and you can tell they love music when you talk to them.

Got a favorite or interesting new punk band you'd like to share with others? Post it here with a little info about the group and possibly an image as well.

This thread is more for lists and less discussion. If you find yourself getting into a deep discussion about a band which lasts for more than two pages, then start a thread for the band. Also feel free to make a request for the mods to move any relevant posts into that thread if you'd like.

Detonize

Angry crust that crosses Anti-Cimex with Motorhead. Originated from Seattle, slowly becoming a Portland band. Ex-members of SanctuM.

Mika Miko were the best modern punk band but now that they're gone it's probably Screaming Females.
