Remember that Devo song study? Remember how that was a really good idea, and remember how the songs people voted for were, in fact, the best songs, which was awesome?

Well don't both to remember, because Devo just pissed all over that, and the songs on the released album wont be the songs we voted for. Nope, when people didn't vote like they wanted, Devo just fucking straight threw out the results, making the whole thing irrelevant. And they did so just so they could include the songs No Place Like Home and March On, easily the worst songs in the study, and in doing so they kicked off Please Baby Please and Signal Ready, which were easily the best songs in human history.

What the fuck, Devo.

Well two things on this-
A) They only changed 3 songs
B) There's going to be an iTunes version which WILL be the exact song study tracklist.

To sum it up-not worth caring about, I just wanna hear it

Well yeah, but I mean, when I was voting my EXACT THOUGHTS were "Wow, I'm really glad that we as voters were able to make sure that they included the songs Please Baby Please and Signal ready, and make sure they didn't include No Place Like Home and March On."

Seriously, those were my exact thoughts.

And it was all a LIE. DEVO HAS BETRAYED ME :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

But yeah, ultimately it doesn't matter, but it does sorta annoy me that the song study ended up not meaning anything.

Edit: Apparently Devo changed their mind, and now Please Baby Please is going to be on the standard version too.

This album is actually kind of amazing. "Mind Games"!!! <3 and a half. I kinda wish the production was slightly less slick but the songs make up for it.
