there's actually a fuckton of awesome misfit clone bands....
Hybrid Moments (oxnard, cal) - they released a great EP of originals DieMonsterDie they have this song called Dead Alive off their first album I been playing a lot lately... every one of their albums they have 2-3 songs that you can't stop listening to and they keep it horror b based mostly Lurking Corpses they mix horror punk and black metal with danzig-esque vocals keeping to the horror b theme as well... very fucking awesome band. Under A Nightmare this band shows some grunge influence but somehow keep it in the misfits, horror b realms, and also have some Lovecraft references sometimes ... great great band Dead Next Door ... this band's first album was wwwaaayyyy too awesome for me not to mention them... badass Evil Elvis clone-age and catchy horror punk riffs based around the horror biz theme Automatons .... fat horror punk dudes who have a badass cover of elvis' fools rush in on youtube... and some catchy songs like Sad Halloween Night Mister Monster .... awesome alcoholic 50's reanimate style horror swag going down... Over Your Dead Body got horror album of the year when it was released... and they've been exhuming graves in campy horror b fashion ever since... Blitzkid when they first came out I loved'em but after awhile they got boring... still Teenage Necrophilian Love is good enough for me to post on facebook right now still... they have good Misfits clone-age at times in the past (cool dudes... I asked'em to play Slaughter At The Sock Hop at their show here and they actually did... was off their first album... very fucking cool and awesome song)
the list goes on and on, honestly, of the great horror bands carrying the torch the Misfits lit back in '79...
but last and definitely not least I'd have to say CANCERSLUG! They claim to not be apart of any genre and don't like being put in the same sentence as blitzkid and I can understand why... and Alex Story would probably cuss me out for me mentioning them here under a misfits clone thread HAHAHAHA but you can't deny his evil elvis type vox and the punk riffage throughout their albums which all have been free to download on their band site since... forever... also they did a badass Samhain medley while back... and Alex writes amazing songs built around werewolves... horror... and pure badassery at times... I cant say enough about CS! :O
Also Alex Story's side project Ultra Creeps has some sick horror punk-ish stuff... the one about venus fly trap or whatever when you youtube ultracreeps ... it'd get you hooked right away if you have any horror punk in ya, in my humble opinion, of course.
