Thier first release (?), this is a jazzy single, much less like what would come later. This has a Mid-East feel with Gypsy-esque sounds. Eb would be the only one to remain in the band.

"Life is a Cabaret - Is It?"

With a completely new line-up and a new sound to go with it, this is an extremely good piece of early gothic history. It is very dancy, mysterious, and has a rich sound. The Guitar is more slicing and the vocals more twisted. The quote from the album, "Life is a Cabaret - Is It?", fits perfectly, as the songs all sound very cabaret-ish, though with a haevy gothic punk accent.
