"Change Today" is certainly a change from "Beneath the Shadows", a step back into rock territory. Less punk however, "Change..." has also lost most of its goth and horror themes except on the outstanding "Black Magic" track. It is however a dark album, with a variety of depressing lyrics and some impresively dreary guitars. You could do a hell of a lot worse by buying "Revenge" or "Hit and Run".
