TSOL's
epic first release established them as a band with
strong political values and made them popular among
punks across the country. The music was fast and
powefrul, the lyrics shouted and heartfelt. It would
also prove them a diverse band all the way up until
"Beneath the Shadows" when singer Jack
and drummer Todd left, serving as a landmark of
just what they were capable of no matter how far
they moved from typical punk territory (using keyboards,
wearing makeup, etc).
